A thin rock section of Piemontite was viewed by polarised light microscopy, This is a metamorphic ore rock formed by the action of manganese rich fluids at high temperature and pressure on existing rocks. From St Marcel, Italy.
Silver plated cufflinks with a glass dome. The image has been printed on glossy metal so that both the metal and the magnifying glass dome reflect light. This means that as you move the cufflinks the image has real depth and almost appears 'alive'. Cufflinks measure 18mm across (16mm glass dome) and 25mm deep (from the back of the swivel mount to the front of the glass dome). Supplied in a gift box with a description of the image.
